Lindsay Hayward is an award-winning performer with international experience, who now lives in the DFW area. She has performed in over eighty productions throughout the Metroplex as well as with Michigan State Theatre, New Jersey's Appel Farm Arts Center, London's Ashcroft Theatre, and South Africa's Baxter Theatre. Her vocal stylings include Texan swing, cabaret evenings, and sessions with the alternative bands, Indictor 101 and 32 Short.
She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre, and Post Graduate Diploma/MA in Theatre and has studied with Andrew Jarvis (RSC: Shakespeare & Text), Amir Korangy (Theatre Arts Hollywood), Meredith Loft (Laban: Physical Theatre), Ian Goode (Polka Theatre: Improv), Uri Roodner (Clowning), Margaret Loft (Linklater: Voice), Shakespeare Dallas (Text & Fitzmaurice), and London's Pineapple Dance Studio. She also holds a BADC certification in Stage Combat. Hayward was named a Critic’s Choice by the nationally published Guardian newspaper and is a recipient of a 2015 DFW Column Award.
Career highlights include working with Richard Martin (BBC, Doctor Who), performing at Lyric Theatre during London's West End Showcase Season, and once accidentally spilling a drink on an Academy Award nominee during an awards ceremony.
